Unfortunately some books do not stand the tests of time, and the ephemeral nature of paper ephemera really lives up to its name. Antique books that are dilapidated and out of date can easily seen useless and more convenient to just throw away. I prefer giving those antique book plates a second, third or fourth life where they can be viewed and discussed for their amazing intricacies, colors and vibrancy. Why buy a modern reprint when you could possibly find the 100+ year old version that looks million times better anyways?

Definitely did not kill them! Part of the fun is spending time outdoors, exploring and foraging the all natural way. I'm also lucky enough to work with several amazing national conservation groups that use these found materials to raise funds for student teachings and awareness seminars.
